TS&W Helps "Stomp" Out Hunger

To kick off the United Way of Greater Richmond & Petersburg campaign season, this year's United Way Day of Action was an event called "United We Can". The event was an invitation for individuals and companies in our community to LIVE UNITED and featured a sculpture contest, food vendors, kid friendly activities, games and prizes. TS&W participated in the sculpture contest using over 3,400 donated canned food items. TS&W's sculpture, a 7-foot tall boot to "stomp" out hunger, won the People's Choice award, which was voted on by donating a canned food item or $1 for each ballot. This event is a shining example of TS&W's employees' commitment to giving back to the community and how TS&W supports and encourages associate involvement in charitable and volunteer service organizations.
